Ribbons kill - do not just blame the balloons!
I just read a post online regarding Balloon Releases and how the balloons released kill wildlife.
I am truly disturbed on many levels.
As an animal lover, it is just wrong that these animals are perishing. It is a breach of moral conscience when another the life of another being is minimized for the sake of something trivial. But as I read two or three more postings, I saw pictures of birds with ribbons wrapped around their bodies, necks, legs, etc. and it is evident that these animals died as a result of strangulation from those tethers.
This brings me to being disturbed on another level.
To all of the people out there in the entire world who think they are "Balloon Professionals" and to those people who are now saying, "Really? Balloon Professionals?" - yes, we are thousands strong, worldwide - If you are truly a "Balloon Professional", you will note that it is the ribbon tethers that have killed a majority of these animals. Balloon Professionals NEVER conduct balloon releases with tethered balloons!!! These instances where balloons and ribbon have strangled these balloons are not from gigantic, hundreds of balloons being released - it may be caused by a more terrifying thought - one child letting go of a balloon their parent has just gotten/purchased for them!!! GASP!!
Now that you've caught your breath, who wants to think about the concept of outlawing giving a minor a single balloon attached to a string or ribbon?
Maybe a bit more education about balloons, their safe use and the environment and a little bit of common sense on the part of everyone on earth and we can alleviate this issue without putting very hard working people like Balloon Professionals out of business!!

Tales of "The Real Balloon Delivery Men of NYC"
"The Real Balloon Delivery Men, er, Women of NYC" - Journal Entry #4
At one of our local area hospitals, One of our delivery woman, Ellen, gets into an elevator to bring balloons to a patient. She notices that a woman in the elevator with her appears to haves good sized "baby bump". So she assumes that the woman, dressed in regular street clothes is pregnant and is most likely going for a check-up. The "baby bump" woman gets off at a lower floor and Ellen continues to a higher floor to drop off the arrangement.
Once done, Ellen gets back in the elevator for the ride back down to he lobby and the "baby bump" woman happens to get back on the same elevator, this time, with a newborn in hand! Ellen must have had a very perplexed look on her face as the "baby bump" woman looked at her and said, "Quick delivery, no?"
Now, did "Baby Bump" Woman mean Ellen or herself????
Think about it.......

Inflated Corporate Branding
We have been handling a great number of requests from our corporate customer for help with the inflation of imprinted balloons. Some of our customers have their own balloons supplied to the them by the "home office" while others use our imprinting services.
