It's a rematch! The Patriots and the Giants to meet on February 5 for Superbowl 46.

Only two weeks away, die hard fans (and some not so much) have to start thinking about a terrific Football party. Cold beer, sandwiches, chips and salsa are easy "go-to" dishes to serve if you are a first-timer or pressed for time.

Making some hot dishes like wings, cheesesteaks and chili may take some more time but these dishes will expand your Superbowl offerings for your guests - and make some football fans, your fans!

Doll up the house too - get some red and blue balloons and place them around the house or just float them on the ceiling. Great thing this year is the fact that both teams have the same team colors so decor is easy.

Can anyone solve the mystery we seem to be stuck in here in New York? Why are so many people so upset to receive balloons? They are quick to say, "It's not you" to our delivery people but sometimes the hostility toward a bunch of balloons seems a little extreme for what they are. I guess what we are trying to say is our new motto: "Choose balloons - Smile for awhile!"

After 10 deliveries in a matter of 2 hours, Manhattan security levels, and Manhattan traffic, our delivery man gets to his last stop. The security guard is new and puts our delivery guy through a battery of questions - "Who is this delivery for?" "Do you have a floor number?" "Do they know you are coming with the delivery?" and so forth. After a few more questions, the security guard asks our delivery guy, Pete, for his company name and address, to which Pete promptly answers, "Don't you know the address here? You work here. don't you? You should at least know your work address?"

Watching the guards face change to a look of confusion, Pete suddenly realized that his long day was just getting longer by the minute! "Yessir, I know the address here where I work - but are you feeling okay?", was the response from the guard, who then let Pete go right up to make his delivery. See - there are plenty of compassionate New Yorkers!!!

Federal Building - Lower Manhattan - balloon bouquet in a clear delivery bag - why does the person delivering have to be searched three times at three different locations, "wanded" and patted down twice while he watches the Chinese Food delivery guy walk right in? Sort of makes you wonder........

Another windy day in New York City and as luck would have it, as Frank gets our of the van with a rather large Hello Kitty Balloon Bouquet, a gust of wind whips up and the Jumbo "Hello Kitty" Shaped Foil Balloon pulls right off the ribbon. A passerby sees the balloon starting to take flight on its own and makes a desparate leap to catch it. The kind man landed back on two feet, looked at Frank, shrugged his shoulders and said, meekly, "Bye-Bye Kitty?" So much for the ol' college try!

Just some information for the record - although we get a bad rap sometimes, here are the plain truths about BALLOONS!!!

· Latex balloons are made of 100% natural, biodegradable latex.

· The harvest of the sap from the rubber trees discourages de-forestation and the latex-producing trees are left intact allowing them to continue producing latex for up to 40 years

· Latex balloons biodegrade in about the same time as an oak leaf

· During a balloon release, the majority of balloons will rise to an altitude of approximately 5 miles. At the altitude, the balloon will either freeze and become brittle or explode due decreased air pressure and the helium expanding. This means that the balloon is reduced to pieces of natural rubber about the size of a penny which fall back to earth where they finish decomposing naturally.

· Studies have shown that latex balloons ingested by animals pass through the digestive system.

· Balloons should NEVER be released with anything more than a race card (if applicable). Strings, ribbon, valves, sealing discs and clips are non-biodegradable and may harm wildlife.

· Balloons should be hand-tied and released individually (NEVER tied together in bunches)

· Foil balloons and latex balloons with metallic pigment should never be released into the environment.
